Myriam Benkoussa

Hi! My name is Myriam and I go by Mimi, I'm a current Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase. I have four years of experience as a developer in the finance industry, specifically credit card rewards, and I'm passionate about problem-solving and using my tech skills to make a positive impact. Prior to starting at JPMC, I was a CS student at Bryn Mawr College in PA and took the majority of my CS coursework at Haverford College, where I majored. I’m interested in the applications of computer science to cybersecurity, big data, and ML/AI. I wrote my senior thesis on the security risks of the PKI implementation - specifically as applied to the connectivity of IoT systems/devices. For more information, view my resume.

When I’m not coding, I am reading (my favorite book is East of Eden!), writing short fiction, and travelling. I am Algerian and lived in Algeria and Canada before coming to the United States, and go back often. My other obsessions? Coffee, beauty, and fashion. I’m also trying to get into videography.
