Myriam Benkoussa

Hi! My name is Myriam and I go by Mimi, and I’m currently a CS MEng student at the University of Connecticut. My interests lie in the applications of computer science to machine learning, artificial intelligence, and big data. Prior to starting my master’s I worked as a software engineer at JPMorgan Chase, with five years of experience as a developer in the finance industry, specifically credit card rewards. I'm passionate about problem-solving and using my tech skills to make a positive impact. Before JPMC, I was a CS undergrad at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. For more information, view my resume.

When I’m not coding, I am reading (my favorite book is East of Eden!), writing short fiction, and travelling. I am Algerian and lived in Algeria and Canada before coming to the United States, and go back often. My other obsessions? Coffee, beauty, and fashion.
